Fishing 3/16/20

Fishing & Hunting  Reports:

Trollers:

Things continue to be good from Crane Reef all the way to “G” Can. Water condition still remains pretty good. Mud is coming in but lines are pretty distinct and still being pushed in pretty tight, over all things are in good shape. Most reports from out front are Bandits and P10s and most are still running in the 1.5 to 1.8mph range.

Drifters:

Recent Jig bite reports continue to improve. There has been a school of fish just East of Wild Wings channel in 13 to 15 foot of water that have been cooperating for a few days now. Some are vertical jigging Ice lures and some Hair Jigs just have to keep boat speed to a minimum and keep it in front of them. We are still hearing Crane Reef, Cone Reef, as well as Niagara. The reports are some of the males are milking so things are starting to ramp up.

Perch and Crappie:

Not many recent perch reports, but we have had some from Crane reef. Also decent reports on crappie in local creeks and channels and sounds like the Bullheads have picked up as well.

Congrats Ryan Perlaky on some nice fish for his customers.
