Slowed some with the rise in water temp. Bay Rat Long Extra Deeps have started leading the charge and like most lures a variety of colors are pulling fish. True-Trips and Spoons and Dipsys and spoons are pulling fish as well. Speed and depth continue to be the main key, as we continue to hear every color combo under the sun. It’s just continues to be a great year to fish and all signs point to that trend to continue.
Trollers: Still mostly running 2.5 ~ 2.8mph as a good starting point and vary that until you find what works. Best reports are North of B Can, A to B Can Line, and out around the War Buoy.
Drifters: Out Front and down to Toussaint, G can, Picket fence continue to produce some fish from what we hear.
Fishing continues be a struggle. Some days better than others, and its hit or miss. All in all slow fishing but you can get your fish some trips and others you won’t. Hopefully the incoming weather will cool the water and they will turn back on.
1.5~2mile east of the Intake, A, B and D Cans all getting decent reports. Sounds like fish continue to be large with few throwbacks and not a ton of junk. Reports from the Gravel Pit as well. Fish have been very nice size.

Good Luck to those who venture out in this heat
Fair amount of Teal in the area but the weather has kept the action slow, nothing wants to move in this heat. Hopefully that will change with this cooler weather and some wind and rain in the area.
