9/28/19 Fishing & Hunting

Fishing & Hunting Reports:

Walleye Reports:

Walleye fishing is going strong out front. They are pulling good fish out around  Locust, Cone and Niagara. Expecting things to continue to improve as the water temps keep dropping. Hopefully these winds will start to back off and conditions will improve.

Trollers:

Fishing still seems to be good out front, fish moving back in as water cools down and still hitting Rattle Tots and Flicker Minnows. Cone reef, Locust and Niagara sound like good places to start, fish have been coming off the sides as well as right off the tops of the reefs.

Drifters:

Sounds like the fishing continues to be strong out front, Niagara, Locust, and Crane Creek as well as over East around Kellys Island all sound like they are producing fish pretty consistently.

Perch:

Things continue to be a struggle. Best reports coming from Toledo Lighthouse 21 foot of water, and out around B Can. They are still inconsistent…. Don’t forget to stop and get your Happy Hooker Perch Rigs, tied with Mustad Central Draught Hooks.

Several good Crappie reports over the last few days in local creeks and marinas ….
