Walleye: NOT MANY RECENT REPORTS DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Bay Rat Long Extra Deeps were leading the charge most recently and like most lures a variety of colors are pulling fish. True-Trips and Spoons and Dipsys and spoons were pulling fish as well. Speed and depth continued to be the main key, as we continue to hear every color combo under the sun.
point and vary that until you find what works. Best reports are North of B Can, A and the A to B Can Line, and out around the War Buoy. May need to do a little moving to find some mud lines and work the edges of the cleaner water.
Drifters: Out Front and down to Toussaint, G can, Picket fence continue to produce some fish and the G can end will clean up faster than the west.
Perch: NO RECENT REPORTS DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Some days were better than others, and its been hit or miss. The cooler water should help get them going again and as the mud settles we expect this to turn out to be a great weekend for the perch fishing.
Last reports were 1.5~2mile east of the Intake, A, B and D Can, but the weather may have that changred. Sounds like fish continue to be large with few throwbacks and not a ton of junk. Reports from the Gravel Pit as well. Fish have been very nice size.
