Fishing remains Good with little changes in patterns. True-Trips and Spoons, Rattle Tots and Flicker Minnows continue leading the charge. Bandits and Crawler rigs, are pulling fish as well. Speed and depth continue to be the main key, as we continue to hear every color combo under the sun. It’s just continues to be a great year to fish and all signs point to that trend to continue.
Trollers: Still mostly running 2.5 ~ 2.8mph as a good starting point and vary that until you find what works for you. Best reports are North of B Can, A to B Can Line, and out around the War Buoy. Some reports from out around the turn around and the Border as well
Drifters: Out Front and down to Toussaint, G can, Picket fence continue to produce some fish from what we hear.
Fishing has been slow and gotten tougher with these storms and weather changes. Some days better than others, all in all good fishing but taking longer than it was to get your fish. Hopefully the weather pattern this week will help stabilize things and they will turn back on. Water temp still a bit high but should start to inch down later this week.
1.5~2mile east of the Intake, A, B and D Cans and .75~1 mile NNW of the Island all getting decent reports. Sounds like fish continue to be large with few throwbacks and not a ton of junk. Reports from the Gravel Pit as well. Fish have been very nice size.
