Things have slowed a bit but still doing very good. Most are staying inside off Crane Creek or Out front and fishing 12~18 FOW. Crawler rigs, True-Trips and Spoons, Rattle Tots and Flicker Minnows remain the go to baits lately, although the crawler bite seems to be dying off some. Bandits and Bay Rats are pulling fish as well. It just continues to be a flat out great year to fish.
Trollers: 2.5 ~ 2.8mph is a good starting point and vary that until you find what works for you. Right out front in , 10~18 FOW, K Can and Locust. Also a pretty good bite off Crane Creek at the same depths, and Cone/Flatrock Reef areas continue to get some good reports. Gravel Pit to the Turnaround Buoy still holding fish, Picket Fence, G and H Cans still producing as well
Drifters: Gravel pit and North, North of B Can, and towards the War Bouy. To the east it’s, G can and right out in front of the Moose. Reports Early morning and late evening bites seem to be the best..
We have Goldies and good old redworms. Fishing remains great and limits are big. The shiner situation has taken a nosedive, and live Emeralds are next to impossible to come by, but the Goldies have been getting the job done and have had very few struggle to pull fish.
A, B and D Cans were all getting very good reports and fish have been large. Reports from 1.5 mile East of the Intake and Gravel Pit as well. To the East, Green and Rattlesnake have been good. Fish have been very nice size.
