Fish seem to be scattered and there are schools of fish in many of the normal spots. Crawler rigs, True-Trips and Spoons have been leading the charge and Rattle Tots have been mentioned a lot. Speed and depth seem to be way more important than colors, as we continue to hear every color combo under the sun
Trollers: 2.6 ~ 3.2mph seems like a good starting point and vary that until you find what works for you. 24~30 FOW North of B Can, 15~16 FOW off Crane Creek and Cone/Crib Reef area all producing fish working Jets N Spoons. Reports of fish around Crane Creek and K Can areas on Rattle Tots as well. Most reports have bigger fish coming from shallower water. Jets and Spoons, Green and Rattlesnake producing as well.
Drifters: North of B Can, and towards the War Bouy. To the east it’s, D can from what we hear. Reports Early morning and late evening bites seem to be the best..
A, B and D Cans all getting very good reports before the blow and were getting more consistent. Have not heard much talk about Niagara, but has been mentioned some. Fish have been very nice size and limits are starting to come easier. Sounds like the perching will be in full swing very soon.
