Fishing has been very good. Water is clearing back up from Wednesday night NE winds. Fishing has been great early and late and slower in the mid-day
Trollers: 15~22 FOW out front, Crane Reef area, and out past the Island. Also good reports from out past B Can around the War Bouy. Most reports have bigger fish coming from deeper water and more fish in the shallower water. Niagara and Cone Reef, and Locust areas still producing fish. Jets and Spoons, Taildancers and Bandits seem to be the hot ticket at 2.4 ~ 3.2 with 2.5 being the most reported speed
Drifters: Reports from A Can, Crane, Niagara, Cone, and Locust all pretty good. Last few days sounds like most fish are coming right off the bottom which is a change from the week prior. To the East, D can is the hot spot and Mouse is getting good reports as well. Reports Early morning and late evening bites seem to be the best with the water clarity being so clean. Casting Harnesses with about any color combination are the weapon of choice at the time. Gold, Purples, Pinks and Charteuse seem to be selling the most, but colors have not seemed to be very important, every group has a different color they did well with.
Some Reports of some nice Perch from A can and Niagara. I would try any of the normal Perch spots.
Local spots are producing some fish as well as Metzgers Marsh and East Harbor
