Most are 14~18’ fish with some 19~ 21 and occasional bigger fish as well. Fish seem to be scattered but main concentration seems to be north of West Sister. They seem to be willing to bite on most anything you like to fish with, but True-Trips and Spoons have been leading the charge. Speed and depth seem to be way more important than colors, as we continue to hear every color combo under the sun
Trollers: 24~30 FOW out past the Island, has been the most targeted area. Also good reports from out past B Can around the War Bouy and the finger. Most reports have bigger fish coming from deeper water. A Can and Crane Reef area, and L Can areas still producing fish. Jets and Spoons, Taildancers and Bandits seem to be the hot ticket at 2.6 ~ 3.2
Drifters: Reports from A Can, Crane, Niagara, Cone, and Locust all pretty good. To the East, D can is still the spot from what we hear. Reports Early morning and late evening bites seem to be the best. Casting Harnesses with about any color combination are the weapon of choice at the time. Gold, Purples, Pinks and Chartreuse seem to be selling the most, but colors have not seemed to be very important, every group has a different color they did well with.
Not a lot of reports but what we are getting is still A can, B Can and Niagara. Have heard of some limits being pulled but still very little talk. I would try any of the normal Perch spots. WE NEED SOME PERCH REPORTS OUT THERE
Local spots are producing some fish as well as Metzgers Marsh and East Harbor
