5/3/19 Fishing Report
Hopefully a decent weekend on the horizon…..
Yesterday afternoon fishing was great for those that ventured out jigging right out front in 13 Foot of water. Sounds like the trollers had to work a little harder for them with the water conditions… Fish are still out front.
Reports from North of Locust across towards Niagara reef, word is that they are still pulling some nice fish
Bandits and Bay Rats 20 to 70 feet back at 1.5 to 2.2mph seems to be the range. Still seems to be a variety of colors with Orange Crush, and Huff N Puff mentioned the most. Look for the mud lines and work the edge of them, seems like they are always a good place to try.
Reports have been good coming in for jigging as well right out front in close in 13 Foot of water. Still a good bite on Locust Reef as well, Blacks, Purples, and Pink have been mentioned the most for hair jig colors, with Greens being thrown in some as well. Things are looking good for the weekend if mother nature will give us a break. Hair jigs, and Captain Jays blades continue to be the go too baits, but the crawler bite is starting to pick up with the warmer water temps.
No new reports.
Few Reports from local creeks, but not much info.
