5/27/19 Fishing Report
Looks like Mother Nature decided to keep us guessing this weekend on the lake, Hopefully today will be a bit better …
The jig bite is dying off but they are still pulling some fish if that’s what you like to do. The crawler bite is picking up nice and the trollers are doing great. Fishing has been very good lately and it sounds like you can catch fish about any way you prefer right now.
There have been lots of reports from 15 to 17 foot all the way across out front. Also some from 28 to 30 Foot of water northeast of the Island. They are pulling some good fish and most have been doing great but some have struggled. Also still hearing a lot from D Can to Green and Niagara, but hard to drive past all those fish in close.
Bandits and Bay Rats 20 to 70 feet back at 1.6 to 2.5mph seems to still be a good program, and a lot have started making the switch to jets and spoons. Have heard some reports as high as 2.8 Still seems to be a variety of colors pulling fish, a lot of metallic colors.
Reports coming in for jigging have slowed down but those that are still jigging seem to be pulling some fish. Crawler harness bite is great out front as well, all the way across from Minkies to the tower 16 foot of water. Variety of colors mentioned. Things are looking good. Water temps on the rise.
Few reports from A and B cans and starting to hear of some decent catches.
Few Reports from local creeks, sounds like they have picked up some with this stable weather, but still not a bunch of info… Need some first hand intel folks...
Congrats to Crissy Anderson on another job well done….
