4/4/19 Fishing Reports

Fishing  Reports:

Walleye Reports

Yesterday was an improvement from Tuesday but still a bit of a slow bite. Things should continue to improve. Mud lines have been pushed farther East and closer in by current and winds which will help things.

Trollers

Looks like the reefs will start to clear up today which should be a trigger so Cone or Little Pick should be a good place to start.

Bandits 35 to 85 feet back at 1 to 1.8 mph seems to be the most popular program. Metallic colors in the cleaner water and dark colors in the muddy water.

Drifters

Reports have been a bit slow for jigging as well but they should be turning on more as well any time.

Some reports have come in from right out front in 12 to 18 feet of water, but most are still out in 16 to 20. Crib, Cone and Little Pick are getting the most attention, fish were scattered again yesterday, and you have to search for pockets of active fish.  Hair jigs, Swedish Pimples, and Jigging Raps all working.

Perch:

A few reports from Crane reef, not fast but pulled some fish

Crappie:

A few Reports from local creeks, sounds like they are still a bit slow but picking up.
