4/2/19 Fishing Report
Yesterdays Morning reports were slow and sounds like the blow has things slowed up some, sounds like it got better as the day went with better reports as the day progressed. Mud lines have been pushed around by current and winds but they are still in fairly close and pretty well defined. They should be holding fish today with the sunshine.
Crane, Cone and Little Pick reef areas should be a good starting point, not sure what this blow has done to things so you may need to switch things up to find some active fish.
Bandits 35 to 85 feet back at 1 to 1.8 mph still seems to be the most popular program. Metallic colors in the cleaner water and purples in the muddy water.
P 10’s running 20/20 with a 2 oz weight @ 0.8 to 1.4mph also getting some attention. Run chrome colors in the clearer water and darker colors in the darker water. Mud line edges have been producing fish.
Reports have been good for jigging. Hearing much the same stories recently, fishing is on…..
Some reports starting to come in from right out front in 12 to 18 feet of water. Crib, Cone and Little Pick are getting the most attention. Hair jigs, Swedish Pimples, and Jigging Raps all working.
A few reports from “A” can and Crane reef, not fast but pulled some fish
A few Reports from local creeks, sounds like they are starting to fire up.
