Fishing

 Reports:

Water temps starting to climb a bit around rivers and shorelines on west end, and things are getting mudded up a bit from runoff. The forecasted winds should pretty much get rid of the floating ice this coming week and things can start warming up faster, time will tell….

Ramp Reports:

No Ramp docks in anywhere yet but just about everyplace is open water now unless we get a wind shift that is not predicted in the next few days.

Fishing Reports:

Walleye:

Trollers are pulling fish.

Most reports we are getting are P10’s running at .5~1mph with 2oz snap weights.

Lead programs vary with target depth and most run 2oz snap weight 20’ in front of lure.

That increases your depth to 150% of what your dive curve shows for your overall lead

Some have started Anchoring on fish and vertical jigging, it’s been slow but they are pulling fish. Mud lines will probably be holding fish as they will move in and out of that warmer water especially if we get some more sun to help that dirty water warm up even more. Best we heard yesterday was 23 fish

Perch:

Had some reports yesterday of nice Perch catches in with the Walleye. I would try any of the normal Perch spots

Crappie:

No Reports yet, rivers and tributaries are still up from all the rain and some docks starting to go in. Should be starting to get some reports.

Bluegill:

No Reports

Hunting Reports:

Top of Oho Taxidermy is here for those who get that trophy.....

Nothing open now except Rabbit, Predators, and Varmints.

NOW GET OUT THERE AND GET RID OF SOME COYOTES…….

Would like some local yote pictures if you get out.
