Fishing & Hunting  Reports:

Walleye: The Bite continues to be good and the night bite off the rocks continues to be great.

Trollers:

Reports still coming from out front, as well as to the East. Sounds like most are running P-10’s, Reef Runners, Husky Jerks, and Bandits 10 to 24 foot of water, pulling short leads ranging from 12-24 feet. Most of the reef complex is producing as well as Crane Creek. Most of the reefs are pretty clean and are in good shape..

Casters:

The fishing has been great on the rocks and piers, as well as on the reefs. The night bite has been very productive with most casting cranks now, but some still throwing crawlers as well. The night bite with crank baits bite on the reefs and from shore rip rap is going great.

Perch and Crappie:

Getting very few perch reports but good reports on crappie in local creeks and channels when there not iced over.

Hunting:

Local Goose and Duck numbers have been good in the Lake Erie Marsh Zone and best closer to the water.

The weather has pushed some good numbers down from the north.

Statewide small game seasons are most all open.

Deer archery season continues and the Rut is on. The extreme cold and snow has not made getting out there to sit with a bow the easiest thing to do but there have been quite a few success stories.

Congrats to James Mayle, a Stud Buck with his new Mathews Vertix from Happy Hooker Outdoors..…
